We run a small retirement livery on our small holding in North Wales. We have a maximum of five horses and ponies on site at anyone time (including our own) so you can be sure your horse or pony will get lots of individual care and attention.

ABOUT US

Helen & Chris have run a livery yard since 2011 and have recently chosen to specialise in retirement livery. An experienced horse owner, Helen is qualified to BHS stage 2 and has experience in working in competition yards, livery yards and riding schools as well as years of experience looking after veteran horses.

Chris has years of experience working with farm animals and is confident and calm horseman.

Helen & Chris live on site and are able to provide round the clock care and supervision for your horse or pony.

It's really important to us that the horses here are happy and relaxed and we continually monitor their wellbeing.

LIVERY SERVICE

Horses and ponies are turned out in small groups or individually according to owner's preferences. We manage our pasture to provide a range of grazing. Horses enjoy daily turnout which can be 24hr during the summer if required.

Our stables are brick built which means they are cool in summer and cosy in winter, we have a range of stables available to suit horses up to 17.2hh.

In addition to daily care, hay and bedding, the service also includes a worming programme (worm tests and worming as required), trims from the farrier every 8 weeks and an annual visit from the dentist. Find out more.
